*Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf was busted for D.U.I. following a car crash early Sunday in Los Angeles. Shia was injured and underwent extensive surgery on his left hand. It's really a shame--his career is hot right now and he's blowing it!

*The Dark Knight broke more box office records, taking in another $75 million over the weekend and racing past $300 million in a record 10 days. At this rate, The Dark Knight could beat Titanic to become the biggest grossing film of all time. I finally got a chance to see the movie this past weekend and I must admit that it didn't live up to all of the hype for me. I thought it was a good movie--NOT the best superhero movie of all time. In my opinion, Iron Man was a much better movie. The late Heath Ledger's scary performance of the Joker stole the movie--it really was creepy and showcased what a great actor Heath was.

*The Reverend Al Sharpton got an offer to be on the next season of Dancing With the Stars, but he declined because he wants to focus on the November election. Note to Al: YOU are not running for President....

*Batman arrrested! Christian Bale was briefly taken into police custody following assault allegations made by his mother and sister. They accused him of lashing out at them in a London hotel. Christian was released and denied the allegations. Stay tuned for new developments.....

*Anne Hathaway sang karaoke in Cape May. Anne belted out a couple of songs with family and friends at the Martini Beach Restaurant on Monday night.

*Heather Locklear is back home after successfully completing four weeks of treatment for anxiety and depression. A close friend said "Heather's feeling really great."

*Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Rihanna, Kid Rock and Mariah Carey are among the artists set to perform at the 5th annual Fashion Rocks concert on September 5 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

*The new Batman movie, The Dark Knight is now in theaters. People Magazine's review says it's the best superhero movie of all time. That's a bold statement! I'll have to see for myself if it beats Iron Man.

*Last night it was the world premiere of the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight" in New York City. The late Heath Ledger, who plays The Joker, was on the minds of everyone. Oscar talk for Heath in this role is heating up. "The Dark Knight" opens in theaters Friday, including the IMAX Theater at Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City.

*You may have been wondering how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came up with the names of their newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Knox is Brad's grandfather's middle name and Leon is the name of Angelina's great great grandfather. The spelling of Vivienne reflects Angelina's French heritage and Marcheline was Angelina's mom's name. The bidding war continues for the first photos of the twins. People Magazine seems to have the upper hand, but OK! Magazine reportedly offered $20 million! All of the money goes to charity. I have a feeling that Brangelina will choose People because that's the magazine in which the first photos of their daughter Shiloh were published.

*Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and comedian Sarah Silverman split up after 5 years of dating. I was surprised to hear about this because they seemed so happy together. Maybe she really was ****ing Matt Damon....only kidding.....

*My TV pick for tonight: the new series "Rock The Reception" at 8:30PM on TLC. It's a twist on a married couple's first traditional dance. The bride and groom and their wedding party learn choreographed dance routines and surprise their guests at the reception.

*Hellboy 2: The Golden Army topped the weekend box office, taking in almost $36 million. Hancock fell to #2, followed by Journey to the Center of the Earth.

*The French hospital in which Angelina Jolie is awaiting the birth of her twins coated the windows of her room with a special material to prevent prying cameras. Photos claiming to show Angelina in the hospital are fake.

*Former 'N Sync member Lance Bass will reportedly join the 7th season of Dancing With the Stars. In what would be a first for the show, the openly gay Lance may be paired with a male professional dancer.

*New movies in theaters today: Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3-D and the sci-fi comedy Meet Dave starring Eddie Murphy.

Matthew McConaughey is a new dad. He and girlfriend Camila Alves are the proud parents of a baby boy, born last night. No word yet on the baby's name but I'll keep you posted. Congrats to the new parents!

*Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce yesterday from Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, claiming he was unfaithful and abandoned his wife and children. Cynthia's attorney said A-Rod's relationship with Madonna was "an affair of the heart" and not a sexual relationship.

*A shocking ending (in my opinion) last night on the season finale of The Bachelorette. DeAnna Pappas chose professional snowboarder Jesse over sensitive single dad Jason. Jesse was the last guy I thought she would end up with, but he seems really nice and DeAnna seems to be in love. Hope it lasts!

*Madonna released an exclusive statement to People Magazine, saying she's not getting a divorce and she's not romantically involved with Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod's wife, Cynthia isn't buying it--she's filing for divorce today, saying her hubby's alleged affair with Madonna was the final straw!

*Will Smith ruled the weekend box office. His new movie, Hancock took in $66 million over the weekend with a 5-day total of $107 million. It's Will's 5th movie to open at #1 over the July 4th weekend. I saw Hancock and I have a mixed reaction. I felt like I was watching two separate films. The first half was great--love the concept of a drunk, cranky superhero who does more damage than good. However, the second half got really slow and heavy with some plot points I didn't like. Overall, though, if you are a Will Smith fan I think it's worth going to see.

*Even though they haven't been born yet, the Brangelina twins were named honorary citizens of Nice, France.

*Paula Abdul's ex-boyfriend, restaurant owner J.T. Torregiani could be TV's next Bachelor. He's in talks with ABC to do the show. A reminder--tonight it's the season finale of The Bachelorette on ABC. DeAnna has to choose between Jesse, the free-spirited snowboarder or Jason, the sensitive single dad. She already revealed that the episode ends in a proposal and I think Jason is the guy.

*Angelina Jolie checked into a hospital in Nice, France. A hospital spokeswoman said the admission was a "pre-planned rest period" before Angelina gives birth to the twins. I will let you know as soon as I get the news about the birth of the twins.

*Is Madonna hooking up with Yankees star Alex Rodriguez? That's the latest rumor, after A-Rod was spotted making several late-night solo visits to Madonna's New York City apartment. Madonna's rep said the two have the same manager and know each other, but there's nothing going on. Meanwhile, Madonna and Guy Ritchie must want to put an end to the divorce rumors because they arrived holding hands last night for dinner at an Italian restaurant near their apartment.

*Will Smith's new movie "Hancock" opens today in theaters. Industry analysts predict the movie could make $140-150 million dollars this holiday weekend (no pressure, Will!) Charlize Theron is one of the stars of "Hancock" and she said she can go up to A WEEK without showering! Yuck! Charlize said she enjoys getting dirty while camping or traveling to underdeveloped countries.

*Get Smart star Anne Hathaway dumped her boyfriend, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri just in time. Raffaello was arrested for fraud, money laundering and conspiracy to commit wire fraud and could go to prison for life. He has been accused of lying to investors, claiming to be the CFO of the Vatican. Shame on him--using the Pope's name to make business deals! Even though the breakup was painful for Anne, it was the right thing to do because her career is on the rise and she doesn't need that baggage!

*Sad news to report: Comedian George Carlin died yesterday of heart failure. He was 71.

*Maxwell Smart toppled The Love Guru at the weekend box office. Get Smart was the #1 movie, taking in $39 million. Kung Fu Panda was #2, followed by The Incredible Hulk and The Love Guru, which only took in $14 million. I saw Get Smart over the weekend and liked it. It won't win an Oscar, but it's fun and I will see any movie with Steve Carell.

*By the looks of their baby shower, Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves are expecting a baby boy this summer. All the gifts were wrapped in blue. That's going to be one good-looking baby!

*Ellen DeGeneres gave Portia DeRossi a pink diamond ring to celebrate their upcoming dream wedding. Ellen said planning a wedding is very stressful. Congrats to Ellen on her Daytime Emmy win for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

*TV notes for tonight: Our friend Regis Philbin will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award on the Daytime Emmys on ABC. On the Disney Channel it's the movie Camp Rock starring the Jonas Brothers.

*Janet Jackson will star in an MTV reality show, in which she will mentor a group of aspiring singers and dancers. The show is trying to find the next Janet or Justin Timberlake or Usher.

*People Magazine has named this year’s hottest bachelors--single and sexy men of 2008. Mario Lopez was crowned the hottest bachelor. Other guys who made the list: my cougar crush, American Idol David Cook, Gerard Butler, Chace Crawford , Brody Jenner and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.

*Despite being a superstar and mother of twins, Jennifer Lopez took time out of her busy schedule to surprise some of her biggest fans. Jennifer made graduation day very special for a lucky group of Staten Island elementary school students on Tuesday. Jennifer dropped into a school for autistic children, where she performed "Let's Get Loud" for a group of eight 10- and 11-year-olds. The kids wrote letters to Jennifer and she was so charmed that she decided to come to their graduation.

*A personalized tattoo is usually the kiss of death for a celebrity relationship, but I hope not in this case. Heidi Klum had "Seal" tattooed on her arm.

*Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins didn't even arrive yet, but Brad and Angie are reportedly already planning to adopt a baby boy from Africa. That would make 7 kids running around! They were going to move forward with the adoption last year, but it was put on hold when Angelina got pregnant.

*Indiana Jones ruled the holiday weekend box office. "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Cyrstal Skull" took in $151 million in the U.S. and $311 million worldwide. That's the second biggest Memorial Day weekend opening ever, behind only "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End." I saw the new Indy movie and even though it is easy to get caught up in the nostalgia of Harrison Ford being back in costume and the dramatic Indiana Jones music, I thought it was short on plot and long on action. The script could have used a little help, but the action scenes alone make it worth seeing. By the way, when Harrison Ford was trying to break into acting, a movie studio executive called Harrison into his office and told him he would never make it in show business. I guess Harrison is getting the last laugh--all the way to the bank! So don't let anyone try to crush your dream!

*Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought a $70 million estate on the French Riviera as they prepare for the birth of their twins. Each of their kids was born in a different country. Happy 2nd birthday to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

*Jessica Simpson and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo were back ON over the Memorial Day weekend. It's hard to keep track of these two! They had a romantic dinner in Texas Saturday night and sources say there were holding hands and looked happy.

A FIRST DAUGHTER'S WEDDING

*Congratulations to Jenna Bush, who married Henry Hager Saturday at her parents' ranch in Crawford, Texas. Jenna is the first daughter of a sitting United States president to marry in 16 years. She picked Joe Cocker's song "You Are So Beautiful" for the father-daughter dance with President Bush at the reception.

*Madonna is coming back to Atlantic City on her worldwide Sticky & Sweet tour. The date is November 22 at Boardwalk Hall--tickets go on sale June 2. November 19 is the date for The Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. I saw Madonna last time she was in A.C. and it was the best concert I have ever been to--girlfriend knows how to put on a show!

*Liv Tyler separated from her hubby of 5 years, British rocker Royston Langdon.

*Sources say Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married on May 16. Jessica Simpson revealed that she will be Ashlee's maid of honor.

*An update on the latest American Idol controversy involving ousted contestant Jason Castro. It looked like Jason was saying "Don't vote" when Ryan Seacrest gave out his phone numbers on Tuesday night, but Jason explained that he was really saying "vote, vote."

*A source close to Katherine Heigl says she wants out of her Grey's Anatomy contract to focus on her movie career, but the show likely won't let her out of it.

*Jason Castro was voted off American Idol last night. Simon told him to pack his suitcase so he did! Jason mentioned that the pace of Idol was getting to him so maybe it's a good thing that he was sent home. Ryan Seacrest may be getting ANOTHER big job. Seacrest is in serious negotiations to take over as host of Larry King Live on CNN when Larry retires. Larry mentioned that Seacrest is his first choice to replace him. Does Seacrest ever sleep???

*Mariah Carey confirms her marriage to Nick Cannon in the new issue of People Magazines, which will hit stores tomorrow. You can see the wedding photos from the April 30th ceremony in the Bahamas. Mariah and Nick said it was love at first sight (how sweet!)

*Madonna knocked Mariah off the top of the album charts. The album, Hard Candy is Madonna's 7th #1 album. Madonna kissed one of her female dancers at a concert in Paris--the picture is all over the internet.

*A report says Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting twin girls

*Dr. McDreamy has pec envy! Patrick Dempsey is jealous of his co-star Eric Dane's pecs (Eric is Dr. Mc Steamy.) Patrick said there's a lot of pressure in Hollywood for men to have perfect bodies. He looks perfect to me!
