*Newly-crowned Dancing With The Stars champion Helio Castroneves split from his fiancee, jewelry designer Ali Vazquez. Helio said they broke off the engagement a week or two ago. Of course everyone is saying that Helio's hot chemistry with his dance partner, Julianne Hough may have led to the breakup, but Helio said the two are just friends.

*Britney Spears claims through her reps that she is not expecting her third child (that's a relief!) Meanwhile, the new issue of US Weekly Magazine reports that Britney was recently caught shoplifting!

*Christina Aguilera bares her pregnant belly on the cover of the January issue of Marie Claire Magazine and she said her pregnancy was a surprise because she wanted to wait until her tour ended.

*Indy 500 driver Helio Castroneves was named champion of Dancing With The Stars last night on the season finale, beating out Spice Girl Mel B. Even though Mel is a great dancer, I think Helio deserved to win because he's not a performer and was definitely out of his element. Now we can start thinking about who should be on the next season. One rumor is that 73 year-old Florence Henderson, otherwise known as Mrs. Brady on The Brady Bunch will dance with Jennie Garth's former partner, Derek. What about Marcia, Marcia Marcia????

*Congrats to Usher and his wife Tameka. They are the proud parents of a new baby boy named Usher Raymond V (the fifth.)

*Jessica Simpson has been dating Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo for a little over a week and he even had Thanksgiving dinner with Jess and her family

*Jon Bon Jovi will headline a charity concert at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ on December 21. Tickets range from $100-$500.

*A sad story to report--Dennis Quaid's newborn twins are in a medical crisis after getting a mistake overdose of the medication Heparin at a Los Angeles hospital. Babies are typically given 10 units of Heparin and the twins got 10,000 units! I heard they are in the neo-natal intensive care unit in stable condition.

*Neil Diamond finally revealed the woman who inspired his hit song "Sweet Caroline." She is (drumroll, please) President Kennedy's daughter Caroline

*New movies in theaters include Enchanted starring Patrick Dempsey (I'll see anything with McDreamy on the big screen) and The Mist, which is based in Stephen King's book

*Carrie Underwood said she's addicted to online shopping (I'm with you, girl!) Carrie's favorite site is potterybarn.com

*Here's the latest court ruling on Britney Spears--she can't drive while her kids are in the car! I think that's a wise decision, considering Britney drove through a red light at a busy intersection and ran over a couple of photographers recently. Now she'll have to go to Starbucks solo!

*Nicole Richie's baby shower was held over the weekend and Paris Hilton was one of the organizers. The theme was The Wizard of Oz, Nicole's favorite movie and some of the gifts suggested that Nicole is expecting a boy.

*Beowulf topped the weekend box office, taking in a little over $28 million. Bee Movie fell to #2, followed by American Gangster.

*The American Music Awards were handed out last night. Daughtry and Carrie Underwood were the big winners with three awards apiece and Justin Timberlake got two. Here are some of the AMA winners:

*Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo secretly married music producer Chris Ivery Friday at City Hall in Manhattan. She didn't want a "big thing." NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg served as a witness.

*Bets are being placed on possible names for Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's unborn baby, with Marco the favorite at 4-1 odds. The longshots are Ben and Sean (as in Jen's exes.)

*More bad news for Marie Osmond--how can the woman handle it? Her 16-year-old son Michael is in rehab

*Lawyers for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline will be heading back to court again tomorrow for an emergency hearing. At issue this time will be Britney's bad driving. Exhibit A--Brit running a red light at a busy intersection with the kids in the backseat. Also, a report says Britney got more lipsuction over the weekend in Las Vegas.

*Kelly Ripa says she buys the tightest jeans she can find to make her butt look good. Kelly said the tight jeans do a little lift-and-push, like a push-up bra for the butt. Hey, it's working for her!

*Matthew Perry and Meg Ryan are apparently back-on after a dinner date turned into an overnight date

*Will Donny Osmond be on the next season of Dancing With the Stars? Donny said he got the offer, but he's not sure if he wants to put his body through the grueling schedule. He's still thinking about it. I think Donny would be great and here are some other celebs that I would like to see on DWTS: Henry Winkler, Nancy O'Dell from Access Hollywood, Ralph Macchio, Soleil Moon Frye (Punky Brewster,) gymnast Mary Lou Retton, Elisabeth or Andrew Shue and Jack Wagner. *Elisabeth Hasselbeck called into The View yesterday to reveal the name of her new baby boy. Drumroll please.....the little guy's name is......Thomas Taylor Hasselbeck. Elisabeth will return from maternity leave on November 7.

*Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice, has gone shopping at a Hollywood baby boutique twice in the past week, fueling rumors that she's preggers. Victoria's rep said a Beckham baby is not on the way.

*A report says Halle Berry's unborn baby is a boy. Now we can start shopping for gifts!

*View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her football-playing hubby Tim welcomed a baby boy. Congrats! Elisabeth will call the ladies of the View this morning to reveal the little guy's name.

*Christina Aguilera hosted a baby shower Saturday at her home in Beverly Hills and it had a blue theme. Gwen Stefani was on the guest list and Christina is having two more showers! How many gifts does one baby need?

*More baby news: rumor has it Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan is pregnant at the age of 43 (gives us "older" women hope!)

*Daughtry will open for Bon Jovi on most of the dates of their U.S. tour, including March 2 & 3 at the Wachovia Center in Philly

*Jerry Seinfeld's Bee Movie took over the top spot at the weekend box office, just edging out American Gangster. Vince Vaughn's new comedy Fred Claus debuted at #3, followed by a disappointing 4th place for Tom Cruise's political thriller Lions For Lambs.

*New photos of Britney Spears running a red light at a dangerous intersection have surfaced and they could be used against her in her custody battle. Brit's two sons were in the backseat of the car at the time and it looks like she was trying to text message or call someone on her cell phone

*Jane Seymour was voted off Dancing With the Stars. At 56, Jane was the show's oldest contestant but she looks fabulous! Some sad news--Marie Osmond was not at the results show because her dad, George passed away at the age of 90. Of course, Marie went to Utah to be with her family. George and Olive Osmond (who passed away a few years ago) had 9 children, 56 granchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

*The film & TV writers strike continues to wreak havoc on the production of TV shows. Desperate Housewives will shut down production today due to a shortage of scripts. Sitcoms affected by the strike so far include Back To You, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Til Death, Rules of Engagement, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and The Office.

*Christina Applegate, star of the new hit ABC show Samantha Who, was spotted making out with her ex-hubby, actor Johnathon Schaech at a Hollywood Club. Their divorce was finalized over the summer but it sounds like the feelings for each other were not!

*Britney Spears was ordered to pay $120,000 in legal fees to Kevin Federline, who got custody of their 2 sons

*Looks like Paul McCartney has a new girlfriend. Hopefully she won't be as wacky as his ex-wife, Heather Mills. The new woman in Paul's life is 47-year-old Nancy Shevell, an American mother of one who is the vice-president of a freight company. Photos show Paul kissing Nancy and spending time with her in the Hamptons.

*Rosie O'Donnell may return to TV in the near future. Rosie is in talks with MSNBC to host an evening talk show.

*The film and TV writers strike continues and production has already been shut down on late-night talk shows. Primetime TV shows have enough episodes in the can to last until February (let's hope the strike doesn't go on that long!) Yesterday, 30 Rock star Tina Fey joined the picket line in New York and Jay Leno delivered donuts to the writers demonstrating in Hollywood.

*Kevin Federline is set to tell all to Oprah about his troubled ex-wife, Britney Spears and their custody battle when he makes an appearance on Oprah's show early next year. Meanwhile, Julia Roberts said she wants Britney to move into her guest house so she can take care of her.

*It's a boy--and a girl--for Nancy Grace from CNN Headline News (love her show!) Nancy is a new mom at the age of 48. Her twins were born prematurely but they're doing well.

*Fergie (the singer, not the Duchess of York) said there is such a thing as being TOO glam. Fergie has been wearing less makeup lately after seeing pictures of herself looking too done-up.

*The strike by Hollywood writers is on after film and TV writers broke off talks with studios. The strike could impact some of your favorite shows and will affect late-night shows first.

*Christina Aguilera finally confirmed what we all knew--she's pregnant! Christina plans on being a working mom.

*Katie Holmes completed the New York City Marathon yesterday in just under 5 1/2 hours. Hubby Tom Cruise and baby Suri were at the finish line to congratulate Katie. I heard a comedian say that Katie was trying to run away from Tom (funny!)

*American Gangster starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe was the #1 movie over the weekend, edging out Jerry Seinfeld's Bee Movie.

*Rob Lowe as Dr. McDreamy? Rob was offered the role of McDreamy on Greys Anatomy but downed it down so Patrick Dempsey got the role

*Britney Spears' spending habits were revealed in court documents and her monthly expenses include almost $50,000 in mortgage for two homes, $16,000 for clothes and $102,000 for entertainment, gifts and vacations (must be nice!)

*An arrest is expected soon following recent abuse allegations at Oprah's Leadership Academy in South Africa. Poor Oprah--she tries to do some good and this happens!

*Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) said her hunky soccer star hubby David is tidy around the house and she's not. David even color-coded the fridge and vacuums in straight lines. Good-looking and he cleans? That's a dream man!

*Justin Timberlake had the top-grossing concert tour of the year, followed by Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews Band.
