*Big concert news: New Kids On The Block are coming to Atlantic City! The concert is set for September 27 at Borgata. Tickets go on sale May 17 at 10AM. I will remind you as we closer to the on-sale date.

*More concert news: Jon Bon Jovi revealed that the band in planning a concert in New York's Central Park.

*Shannon Elizabeth was voted off Dancing With the Stars. Contestant Cristian de la Fuente, who was taken to the hospital Tuesday night, gave a medical update last night. He ruptured a tendon in his bicep (ouch!) and has to have surgery, but he said he will remain in the competition.

*The Top 5 performed the songs of Neil Diamond last night on American Idol. Cutie David Archuleta sang "Sweet Caroline" in the first round as I was hoping. Each contestant performed 2 songs. After everyone sang in the first round, the judges quickly summed up their comments. Well, Paula Abdul is really losing it, because she started judging TWO of Jason's songs, even though he only sang one. It was a classic moment! Ryan Seacrest was looking to the side of the stage, not knowing what to do. Audience members were whispering to each other, and finally Randy clued Paula in on what was going on. We'll find out who's going home tonight at 9:00 on the results show. My prediction: either Brooke or Syesha.

*The new reality/dating show Farmer Takes a Wife debuts tonight at 9:00 on the CW Network. Think Green Acres meets The Bachelor. 10 big city women vie for the affection of 29-year-old Missouri farmer Matt.

*Mariah Carey was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring on her left hand ring finger. So, is she engaged? Mariah has been dating actor/singer Nick Cannon. Reps for both had no comment.

*Life imitates art for "Baby Mama" star Amy Poehler. Amy and her hubby, Will Arnett are expecting their first baby. Congrats! By the way, I saw "Baby Mama" yesterday and loved it.

*Another injury on Dancing With the Stars--I think the set is jinxed! Actor Cristian de la Fuente was taken to the hospital after pulling a muscle in his arm. We'll find out how he's doing tonight on the results show.

*The Top 5 perform tonight on American Idol after being mentored by Neil Diamond. I would love to see David Archuleta sing "Sweet Caroline!" Remember Brian Dunkleman, who quit the show after hosting the first season with Ryan Seacrest? Here's what Dunkleman said about quitting: "I didn't think it was cool. If I had known it was going to run for 70 years, I would have sucked it up and become callous like the rest of them." Hmmm...I sense some bitterness....

*Britney Spears is returning to the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" on the May 12 episode

*Madonna's new album, Hard Candy hits stores today

*Madonna debuted her new album, Hard Candy on MySpace 4 days before the album's official release date. By the way, have you seen Madonna and Justin Timerlake's video for the song "4 Minutes?" I want to be Madonna when I grow up!

*Carmen Electra is planning her third trip down the aisle. Carmen is engaged to guitarist Rob Patterson after dating for less than a year. It's weird to think that Carmen was once married to Dennis Rodman!

*Wesley Snipes was sentenced to 3 years in prison for tax evasion. He told the judge he's sorry and will never do it again (ya think???!!!)

*Tom Cruise is going back on Oprah's show in May. Do you think he'll jump on her couch this time?

*Transformers star Megan Fox was named FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World, followed by Jessia Biel and Jessica Alba.

*Carrie Underwood admitted that she has been cheated on twice--poor girl! Her song "Before He Cheats" suddenly makes sense!

*NBC executives said O.J. Simpson will not be on the next season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Good--I thought they were going to have to hide all of the sharp objects in Donald Trump's boardroom!

*Pregnant teen Jamie Lynn Spears is terrified of giving birth. Her mom made things worse by showing her a childbirth video! Maybe Jamie Lynn will go see the new movie Baby Mama, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, which opens today in theaters.

*Marlee Matlin was voted off Dancing With the Stars. In case you don't know about Marlee, she is an Oscar-winning actress who is deaf. She has been an inspiration all season!

*The Top 6 performed the songs of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber last night. It was a little odd hearing a guy with dreadlocks (Jason) sing "Memory" from the Broadway show Cats. I am predicting that Brooke will go home tonight, especially after having to start her song over again after forgetting the lyrics. I felt really bad for her! It was surprising that Paula Abdul, who is normally the sensitive judge, scolded Brooke for starting over. Simon and Randy were nice about it, saying she did the right thing. Carly finally had a good night, and when Simon told her it was a good performance, she pulled out a t-shirt that said "Simon loves me (this week.)" We'll find out tonight who is going home on the results show at 9:00 on Fox.

*Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi was formally charged with D.U.I. but avoided a misdemeanor child endangerment count stemming from his arrest last month. If convicted, Richie faces a maximum penalty of 6 months in jail. His next court date is set for May 7.

*Newlyweds Beyonce and Jay-Z still haven't publicly confirmed their April 4 wedding, but the paperwork is doing the talking. The couple filed a signed marriage license in Scarsdale, New York.

*Miley Cyrus is only 15 years old but she's already writing her memoirs! Miley signed a 7-figure book deal.

*Actor Gerard Butler (my "flavor of the week") briefly dated Cameron Diaz, but he is now reportedly hooking up with Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Cheryl Burke. The two live in the same apartment complex. It's not fair--I don't have hot neighbors like that!

*Kristy Lee Cook was voted off American Idol last night. She should do just fine post-Idol--Randy Jackson already said that he is interested in signing her to a record deal.

*Leona Lewis' album, Spirit became the first album by a British female artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard album chart.

*Elton John is coming back to Atlantic City on July 19 at Boardwalk Hall. Tickets go on sale Monday morning at 10AM. I saw Elton's concert last time he was in A.C. and it was awesome!

*There is a chance that Jennie Garth will reprise her role as Kelly Taylor in the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off. Producers want Jennie to play a fashion design teacher at Beverly Hills High. Her sitcom deal with CBS fell through, so you never know...

*Nicole Kidman admitted that she has been suffering from severe morning sickness during her pregnancy

*More sources are saying that Ashlee Simpson is pregnant. Ash was spotted eating for two yesterday in New York City.

*Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she suffered from post-partum depression after the birth of her second child

DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - TUESDAY, APRIL 15

*A special guest will be in the audience tonight as the American Idol contestants perform--David Cook's brother, Adam, who is suffering from brain cancer. Adam, who lives in Indiana, was initially told by doctors that his condition was too delicate to fly commercially, so his friends got together and arranged for a medical jet and medical staff so he could go to Hollywood to see his brother perform. Get your tissues ready for tonight because there won't be a dry eye in the house! Mariah Carey is the guest mentor and the contestants will sing Mariah's songs.

*Richie Sambora could be facing legal trouble, including possible jail time. Police have recommended to prosecutors that Richie be charged with D.U.I. and child endangerment stemming from his arrest on March 25.

*Brad Pitt was carded while trying to pick up a 6-pack of beer at a grocery store in Texas. I don't know how guys feel about it, but that's a dream for a woman in her 40's!

*New DVDs in stores include Lars & The Real Girl and Juno. I highly recommend Juno--it's one of the best movies I have seen in a long time!

*US Weekly magazine is reporting that Ashlee Simpson is engaged, but her new fiance Pete Wentz shot down the rumors.

*Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is in talks to become the new Austin Powers girl in the upcoming movie. She gets Tom Brady and acting gigs--lucky!

*She better get Geico--Britney Spears was involved in another minor car accident in Los Angeles. Britney was driving around in her white Mercedes convertible Saturday night when she rear-ended a car at a slow speed. Luckily, there were no injuries and Brit didn't even get a ticket. A source said Britney was putting on makeup behind the wheel right before the accident happened.

*Actress Cate Blanchett gave birth to her third child, a boy named Ignatius. Jodie Sweetin, who played middle daughter Stephanie on Full House is a new mom to baby girl Zoe. You know you're getting old when the Full House kids are having kids!

*Ivana Trump took her 4th husband on Saturday. The 59 year-old Ivana married a 35 year-old Italian actor at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The Donald attended the wedding and even cheered for the newlyweds.

*Tom Cruise is upset with Victoria Beckham, otherwise known as Posh Spice, for the negative effect she has had on Katie Holmes. Tom is alarmed by Katie's rapid weight loss and thinks Vic's 900-calorie-a-day diet is to blame (hmmm...maybe I'll try that)

*The horror film Prom Night topped the weekend box office

*The funny guy is off Dancing With the Stars. Adam Carolla was voted off last night. Okay, so he wasn't the best dancer, but he was good for comic relief.

*The Top 8 performed last night on American Idol. The judges liked David Archuleta and Jason Castro's performances the most. Tonight, Idol Gives back airs from 7:30-10PM, a charity special featuring appearances from Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Robin Williams, Fergie, Miley Cyrus and many other big stars. Last year, Idol Gvies back raised $76 million for needy children in the U.S. and Africa and they'll probably raise even more this year. Simon Cowell is a good guy after all--he's donating his paycheck from tonight's show to the cause. The American Idol results show will be on tomorrow night.

*Fergie is once again denying that she's pregnant and to prove it she did a one-handed cartwheel during the taping of her performance on Idol Gives Back. Plus, her tummy is flat!!

*The Beyonce pregnancy rumors have started already. Sources are saying that's why her wedding to Jay-Z was rushed along. Rushed? They had been dating for 6 years! More details about last Friday's wedding: Beyonce did her own hair and the couple's first dance was to the song "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire.

*Bravo's hit reality show Project Runway is moving to the Lifetime Network next season

*Weeds co-stars Mary-Louise Parker and Jeffrey Dean Morgan called off their engagement. Not a shock since they have been on-again, off-again for two years.

Vegas oddsmakers say David Archuleta is still the favorite to win and Kristy Lee Cook is the longshot.

*Newlyweds Beyonce and Jay-Z are negotiating a deal for their wedding photos and they plan to donate the proceeds to charity. Hurry up, we wanna see the pics!

*Pamela Anderson is getting her own reality show on the E channel. "Pamela" is set to debut this summer

*Life is getting so high-tech: Carrie Underwood and her ex, actor Chace Crawford broke up via text message

The honeymoon will have to wait because Jay-Z is touring with Mary J. Blige and he already went back to work Saturday night.

*Sad news to report: Oscar winner Charlton Heston passed away Saturday night at his home in Beverly Hills after battling Alzheimer's Disease. He was 84.

*Nicole Richie is denying reports that her wedding to Joel Madden is planned for this summer.

*Jennifer Lopez's "push present" from hubby Marc Anthony was $2.6 million diamond earrings after the birth of their twins. Better not lose those things, Jen!

*Bye, bye Ramiele! It came down to Kristy Lee, Brooke and Ramiele in the botton 3 last night and Ramiele was sent home.

*Mariah is bigger than "The King!" Mariah Carey made history by surpassing Elvis with the most #1 hits. Mariah's song, Touch My Body is her 18th song to reach the top of the album charts. Elvis had 17 #1's.

*OK! Magazine estimates that Angelina Jolie is due in June or July

*NBC is planning a spin-off of The Office. If you're a fan of The Office, you'll be happy to hear that a new episode will air one week from tonight.

*Former Growing Pains star Tracey Gold gave birth to her 4th son (that's a handful!) The bundle of joy's name is Dylan Christopher.

*A report says the soon-to-be divorced Robin Williams has been hooking up with 27 year-old Connecticut artist Charlotte Filbert. Some people are saying this is what led to his divorce, but I hear that Robin and Marcia Williams have been living apart for a couple of years.

*American Idol rocker David Cook was rushed to a hospital after last night's show for heart palpitations and high blood presure. David was treated and released and sources say he's doing fine. David has been under a lot of stress lately with his brother battling cancer. I wish David the best with Idol and his family! Dolly Parton was the mentor last night on Idol and the standout performances came from David Cook, David Archuleta and the super-hot (in my opinion) Michael Johns, who finally impressed the judges. Tonight we'll find out who's going home on the results show at 9:00 on Fox.

*It was elimination night last night on Dancing With the Stars and Steve Guttenberg was sent home. I was sorry to see him go because he's a great guy! Professional dancer Derek Hough, Shannon Elizabeth's partner was treated at a hospital for a neck injury he suffered in rehearsal. Derek should be fine for next week's performance.

*Looks like a wedding is in the works for Beyonce and Jay-Z. They took out a marriage license in New York and it's valid for 60 days.

*Patrick Dempsey (love of my life--well, my make-believe life) is teaming up with Avon to launch a new men's fragrance in November. Ladies, your man can smell like McDreamy!

*Duran Duran disappointed fans on the opening night of their world tour after frontman Simon LeBon repeatedly forgot the lyrics to the group's biggest hits. Hmmm...maybe a karaoke screen would help?

*Speaking of Today, New Kids on the Block will perform Friday morning on the show and sources say they are planning a reunion tour. A dream come true for NKOTB fans!

*Madonna is thinking about starring in a remake of the classic film Casablanca--with the story set in Iraq. NOOOOOOOOO! You can't mess with Casablanca!

*New DVDS in stores today include Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd and Alvin & The Chipmunks, which is adorable.
