*A Sex and the City dress is flying off store shelves (photo left.) Women want to dress like the ladies of Sex and the City and this $150 Maggy London dress is more affordable than most of the high-end fashions. The character Miranda wears it with a gold belt in the movie. Most retailers have sold out of the dress, so the designer ordered another 2,000 dresses into production.
*The Smurfs are heading to the big screen! An animated and live action Smurfs movie is in the works. The writers of the Shrek movies are in negotiations to write the screenplay. Who should voice the characters of Papa Smurf and Smurfette? I have suggestions: Martin Sheen and Reese Witherspoon.
*Bride-to-be Fergie is planning a $1.5 million wedding to actor Josh Duhamel. Josh wanted a small, casual ceremony but Fergie is going all out for her walk down the aisle.
*Carrie Underwood is on the cover of the new issue of Cosmopolitan. She said she doesn't consider herself to be sexy because she burps and curses a lot!
*Hollywood insiders say Victoria & David Beckham are among the worst tippers. They got comped at a restaurant and left nothing! On the other hand, Ryan Seacrest is very generous--or he's just bad at math. Seacrest recently left a $500 tip for a $100 tab.
