DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - MARCH 31, 2008

*There was a report that a Brangelina wedding took place in New Orleans over the weekend, but a source close to Brad Pitt and Angelina said there was no wedding. Brad and Angie were not even in New Orleans this past weekend. They were in Texas, where Brad is filming a movie.

*The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards were handed out on Saturday night. Johnny Depp and Jessica Alba were named Favorite Move Actors and Miley Cyrus picked up awards for Favorite Female TV Star and Favorite Female Singer. American Idol was named Favorite Reality Show and the award for Favorite Movie went to Alvin & The Chipmunks, which hits DVD tomorrow.

*Donald Trump wants Eliot Spitzer's call girl! The Donald is producing a "My Fair Lady" style reality show on MTV and he offered Ashley Dupre a spot on the show. No word yet on whether she will accept the offer.

*The movie "21" topped the weekend box office. It's based on the real story of college students who card-counted their way to a fortune in Las Vegas. I saw "21" over the weekend and really liked it. I still can't figure out how they count the cards!

*Usher's wife, Tameka caused a scene on her hubby's latest video shoot because she was jealous of the attractive woman starring with Usher. He personally picked singer Keri Hilson to play his love interest in the video and sources say Tameka is very insecure!

*Katie Holmes is in talks to make her Broadway debut in the play "All My Sons." Hmmm... might be a good way to get away from Tom Cruise and the Scientology stuff for a few months.

*Robin Williams is getting divorced! His wife, Marcia filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage. FYI: The two met when Marcia worked as a nanny for Robin and his first wife.

*Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi was arrested for D.U.I. Tuesday night in Laguna Beach, California. See story and mugshot photo in my previous blog entry.

*Chikeze was voted off American Idol last night

*Sports junkie Justin Timberlake will host ESPN's 16th annual ESPY Awards on July 20

*Fergie once again denied that she's pregnant. She said she's on the short side, so a couple of extra pounds and a bad angle on a photo really count.

RICHIE SAMBORA ARRESTED FOR D.U.I.

Here's Richie Sambora's mugshot from his D.U.I. arrest. Richie was pulled over Tuesday night in Laguna Beach, California after police spotted his Hummer weaving on the road. Richie had one woman and 2 kids in his vehicle, including his 10 year-old daughter Ava. He’s scheduled to appear in court on May 7.

DIANE'S CELEBRITY DIRT - WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26

*It was a double elimination night last night on Dancing With the Stars. Tennis pro Monica Seles and magician Penn Jillette were voted off the show. Yeah, there wasn't much hope for them.....

*Did you see American Idol last night? David Cook's rock version of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" was the standout performance of the night. Simon said it was amazing! Tonight is elimination night--we'll find out who's going home tonight at 9:00 on Fox.

*Remember former American Idol contestant Josiah Leming, the teenager who was living in his car? Good news--he signed a record deal with Warner Brothers Records!

*Brangelina has political roots. Brad Pitt and Barack Obama are 9th cousins and Angelina Jolie and Hilary Clinton are 9th cousins, twice removed. It's ashame Angelina got all the looks in the family (sorry Hilary!)

*Britney Spears' 16 year-old sister, Jamie Lynn is engaged to her baby daddy, 18 year-old Casey Aldridge. Jamie Lynn has been flashing her new rock around Louisiana.

*Good news for Britney--her return to TV scored big in the ratings. Monday's episode of How I Met Your Mother earned the CBS comedy its highest ratings ever.

*46 year-old Demi Moore will apparently do anything to keep up with her younger hubby, Ashton Kutcher. Demi revealed that she had leech therapy at a spa. Medical leeches attach themselves to you and detoxify your blood. Yuck---and ouch! Demi said it's so effective that she's going back for another treatment. I'm all about looking younger, but leeches????

Britney guest stars as a receptionist and she said she had a blast doing it and would be open to coming back for more appearances. Brit's wardrobe from tonight's episode is being auctioned off for charity.

*Speaking of charity, federal tax filings indicate that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated more than $8 million to charity in 2006. Good-looking and generous!!!

*Former 90210 star Jennie Garth signed on to star in a CBS sitcom called My Best Friend's Girl

*The cover of the National Enquirer says Oprah has hit 246 pounds! I think they just found an unflattering photo. Sad news for Oprah--her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Sadie passed away at the age of 12.

*Victoria and David Beckham had a double date over the weekend with Kate Beckinsale and her hubby, Len Wiseman. The couples had dinner at a Los Angeles restaurant and sources say the Beckhams acted like newlyweds. I wonder who picked up the check....

*Paul McCartney and Heather Mills have finally settled their divorce. A judge ordered Paul to pay Heather $48.6 million plus $70,000 a year in child support (NOT BAD for 4 years of marriage!) If only he had a pre-nup!! Heather said she was thrilled, but sources say it was a different story inside the courtroom. Heather reportedly dumped a glass of water on Paul's attorney's head!

*Britney Spears has to pay her ex-hubby Kevin Federline's legal fees--$375,000 to cover his attorney fees in their ongoing child custody case.

*The Top 11 perform tonight on American Idol. The show is 2 hours starting at 8:00 on Fox. Mariah Carey will be a mentor and guest judge this week and two other times this season.

*Kelly Clarkson will perform "Ave Maria" for the Pope when he visits New York

*Nicole Kidman wants George Clooney to be her baby's godfather

*New DVDS in stores include Atonement, I Am Legend and my pick--Enchanted, in which an animated Disney princess come to life in New York City. Enchanted is a great Easter gift--that's what I'm getting my 11 year-old niece, Samantha.

*Remember Punky Brewster? She's all grown up and just gave birth to her second child, a baby girl named Jagger Joseph Blue Goldberg. Yes, I said girl (I know--the Joseph part is confusing!) Still waiting on the name of Halle Berry's new baby girl...stay tuned...

*Halle Berry is a new mommy! Halle and her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry welcomed a baby girl yesterday in Los Angeles. No word yet on the bundle of joy's name, but I will keep you posted.

*Britney Spears and Mel Gibson on a dinner date? The two were part of a group dining at a Los Angeles restaurant Saturday night. Evidently Mel and his family have privately befriended Britney to help her with her problems. Meanwhile, UCLA Medical Center is firing some employees for snooping at Britney's confidential medical records.

*TV Alerts for tonight: It's the 6th season premiere of Dancing With the Stars at 8:00 on ABC, followed by the season premiere of The Bachelor, featuring the first British bachelor.

*Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who is the new #1 movie, taking in $45 million at the weekend box office.

*Minnie Driver is expecting her first child. The rumors have been going around for a while, but she confirmed the news last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The question is--who is the baby daddy? She's not telling!

*Beverly Hills, 90210 is being revived! The CW Network is planning a contemporary spin-off of the '90's series. No word on whether any of the original characters will return.

*The last Harry Potter book, Deathly Hallows, will hit the big screen as two movies. The first in November 2010 and the second in May 2011.

*Mariah Carey will fill in for Janet Jackson as musical guest on Saturday Night Live tomorrow night. FYI: Mariah has THREE personal assistants to keep track of her busy schedule!

*Angelina Jolie is reportedly letting her son, Maddox name her unborn baby

*Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who opens today in theaters

*Britney Spears is on an allowance, but she's still spending $30,000 to decorate her little sister Jamie-Lynn's baby's nursery in Louisiana. The nursery is being designed by the same people who did Jennifer Lopez's nursery and it's an ocean-themed room.

*The latest American Idol controvery is that Kristy Lee Cook, who was in the bottom two this week, wasn't voted off because producers felt it was too early to send the "hot chick" home (wow, it's getting catty backstage at Idol....)

*The annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place last night in New York City. Justin Timberlake inducted his friend Madonna--they recently worked together on Madonna's upcoming album. John Mellencamp was also among the inductees.

*Ladies, there's still hope--George Clooney is not getting married! He denied the rumors that he's engaged to girlfriend Sarah Larson.

*Britney Spears has an allowance of $1,500 a week on a debit card. That's a lot of $$$ to us, but to Brit it's being on a strict budget. In other Britney news, she'll guest star on an upcoming episode of the CBS show How I Met Your Mother and she wants K-Fed to start paying his own legal bills.

*Heather Locklear's psychiatrist was the one who made the 911 call over the weekend about Heather. The doctor was concerned about Heather possibly overdosing on depression medication.

*The new American Idol set will be revealed tonight as the Top 12 perform the songs of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Idol judge Simon Cowell admitted to getting regular Botox injections and wearing platform heels and said he turned down a $2 million endorsement deal from Viagra

*The Sexiest Man Alive has another baby on the way. Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana are expecting their second child. Daughter Isabella will be 2 years old in June, so they'll have two in diapers--that's a handful! Matt and Ben Affleck are very competitive, so Ben better get moving on having another kid. He's been too busy ****ing Jimmy Kimmel!

*Paramedics responded to a 911 call Saturday night reportedly made by Heather Locklear's psychiatrist, who feared that Heather would attempt suicide. Respondents arrived at Heather's home to find no problem. Heather's rep said she's fine and never requested medical assistance. I hope everything is okay! It just goes to show you that we really don't know what goes on behind closed doors, even though celebs seem to have perfect lives....

*Paris Hilton has B.M. on her finger! She's wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger with the initials of her boyfriend, Benji Madden.

*Jennifer Lopez is serious when it comes to the security of her newborn twins. She hired SIX bodyguards for the babies.

*Oddmakers say 17 year-old David Archuleta is the favorite to win American Idol (love him!!!)

*The prehistoric adventure 10,000 B.C. topped the weekend box office, followed by College Road Trip and Vantage Point

*Britney Spears got some disturbing mail. Threatening letters have been sent to several addresses connected to Britney. Her security team turned then over to the police and FBI.
