*Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf was busted for D.U.I. following a car crash early Sunday in Los Angeles. Shia was injured and underwent extensive surgery on his left hand. It's really a shame--his career is hot right now and he's blowing it!

*The Dark Knight broke more box office records, taking in another $75 million over the weekend and racing past $300 million in a record 10 days. At this rate, The Dark Knight could beat Titanic to become the biggest grossing film of all time. I finally got a chance to see the movie this past weekend and I must admit that it didn't live up to all of the hype for me. I thought it was a good movie--NOT the best superhero movie of all time. In my opinion, Iron Man was a much better movie. The late Heath Ledger's scary performance of the Joker stole the movie--it really was creepy and showcased what a great actor Heath was.

*The Reverend Al Sharpton got an offer to be on the next season of Dancing With the Stars, but he declined because he wants to focus on the November election. Note to Al: YOU are not running for President....

*Last night it was the world premiere of the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight" in New York City. The late Heath Ledger, who plays The Joker, was on the minds of everyone. Oscar talk for Heath in this role is heating up. "The Dark Knight" opens in theaters Friday, including the IMAX Theater at Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City.

*You may have been wondering how Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came up with the names of their newborn twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Knox is Brad's grandfather's middle name and Leon is the name of Angelina's great great grandfather. The spelling of Vivienne reflects Angelina's French heritage and Marcheline was Angelina's mom's name. The bidding war continues for the first photos of the twins. People Magazine seems to have the upper hand, but OK! Magazine reportedly offered $20 million! All of the money goes to charity. I have a feeling that Brangelina will choose People because that's the magazine in which the first photos of their daughter Shiloh were published.

*Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and comedian Sarah Silverman split up after 5 years of dating. I was surprised to hear about this because they seemed so happy together. Maybe she really was ****ing Matt Damon....only kidding.....

*My TV pick for tonight: the new series "Rock The Reception" at 8:30PM on TLC. It's a twist on a married couple's first traditional dance. The bride and groom and their wedding party learn choreographed dance routines and surprise their guests at the reception.

A-Rod's wife, Cynthia isn't buying it--she's filing for divorce today, saying her hubby's alleged affair with Madonna was the final straw!

*Will Smith ruled the weekend box office. His new movie, Hancock took in $66 million over the weekend with a 5-day total of $107 million. It's Will's 5th movie to open at #1 over the July 4th weekend. I saw Hancock and I have a mixed reaction. I felt like I was watching two separate films. The first half was great--love the concept of a drunk, cranky superhero who does more damage than good. However, the second half got really slow and heavy with some plot points I didn't like. Overall, though, if you are a Will Smith fan I think it's worth going to see.

*Even though they haven't been born yet, the Brangelina twins were named honorary citizens of Nice, France.

*Paula Abdul's ex-boyfriend, restaurant owner J.T. Torregiani could be TV's next Bachelor. He's in talks with ABC to do the show. A reminder--tonight it's the season finale of The Bachelorette on ABC. DeAnna has to choose between Jesse, the free-spirited snowboarder or Jason, the sensitive single dad. She already revealed that the episode ends in a proposal and I think Jason is the guy.

*Will Smith's new movie "Hancock" opens today in theaters. Industry analysts predict the movie could make $140-150 million dollars this holiday weekend (no pressure, Will!) *Sad news to report: Comedian George Carlin died yesterday of heart failure. He was 71.

*Maxwell Smart toppled The Love Guru at the weekend box office. Get Smart was the #1 movie, taking in $39 million. Kung Fu Panda was #2, followed by The Incredible Hulk and The Love Guru, which only took in $14 million. I saw Get Smart over the weekend and liked it. It won't win an Oscar, but it's fun and I will see any movie with Steve Carell.

*By the looks of their baby shower, Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend Camila Alves are expecting a baby boy this summer. All the gifts were wrapped in blue. That's going to be one good-looking baby!

*Ellen DeGeneres gave Portia DeRossi a pink diamond ring to celebrate their upcoming dream wedding. Ellen said planning a wedding is very stressful. Congrats to Ellen on her Daytime Emmy win for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

*Despite being a superstar and mother of twins, Jennifer Lopez took time out of her busy schedule to surprise some of her biggest fans. Jennifer made graduation day very special for a lucky group of Staten Island elementary school students on Tuesday. Jennifer dropped into a school for autistic children, where she performed "Let's Get Loud" for a group of eight 10- and 11-year-olds. The kids wrote letters to Jennifer and she was so charmed that she decided to come to their graduation.

*A personalized tattoo is usually the kiss of death for a celebrity relationship, but I hope not in this case. Heidi Klum had "Seal" tattooed on her arm.

*Indiana Jones ruled the holiday weekend box office. "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Cyrstal Skull" took in $151 million in the U.S. and $311 million worldwide. I saw the new Indy movie and even though it is easy to get caught up in the nostalgia of Harrison Ford being back in costume and the dramatic Indiana Jones music, I thought it was short on plot and long on action. The script could have used a little help, but the action scenes alone make it worth seeing. By the way, when Harrison Ford was trying to break into acting, a movie studio executive called Harrison into his office and told him he would never make it in show business. *Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought a $70 million estate on the French Riviera as they prepare for the birth of their twins. Each of their kids was born in a different country. Happy 2nd birthday to Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.

Well, Paula Abdul is really losing it, because she started judging TWO of Jason's songs, even though he only sang one. It was a classic moment! *It was elimination night last night on Dancing With the Stars and Steve Guttenberg was sent home. I was sorry to see him go because he's a great guy! *The movie "21" topped the weekend box office. It's based on the real story of college students who card-counted their way to a fortune in Las Vegas. I saw "21" over the weekend and really liked it. I still can't figure out how they count the cards!

*Usher's wife, Tameka caused a scene on her hubby's latest video shoot because she was jealous of the attractive woman starring with Usher. He personally picked singer Keri Hilson to play his love interest in the video and sources say Tameka is very insecure!

*Britney Spears has been staying out of trouble lately, so a judge ruled that her dad will remain in control of her affairs until at least March 10, when the next hearing is scheduled. Even though Brit has been on her best behavior, I hear that she's been text-messaging friends from inside her house, complaining that she's bored.

*George Clooney and Nicole Kidman will be among the presenters at the Oscars next Sunday night. Amy Adams will perform the nominated song from Enchanted. By the way, Amy is in talks to star with Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum 2.

*Poor Paris Hilton--her movie, The Hottie and the Nottie has been named the worst film of all time by users of the Internet Movie Database (that's not hot!)

*Nelly Furtado is reportedly pregnant with her second child (ahhh, that explains her dress choice at the Grammys.) Uma Thurman is not pregnant--she just put on a few pounds after quitting smoking.

*GREAT NEWS: The writers strike is officially over! The writers voted on an agreement last night with Hollywood Studios and they are going back to work today. Some TV series will return in the Spring with a handful of new episodes. The strike was resolved just in time for the Oscars next weekend--yeah!

*Former Different Strokes star Gary Coleman revealed that he secretly got married last August to a 22 year-old woman he met on a movie set. He said this is his first romantic relationship. Can you believe Gary is 40? I feel old!

*Fergie's mom, Terri commented on rumors that her daughter is pregnant. She said Fergie is not pregnant and described her as looking "skinny, skinny, skinny" at the Grammy Awards. The ladies here at the office think Fergie is preggers...

*I feel sorry for the Hilton parents--another one of their kids was arrested. Paris' brother, 18-year-old Barron Hilton was arrested for D.U.I. and reckless driving

*American Idol finally went Hollywood last night as Simon, Randy and Paula had the difficult task of picking the Top 24 finalists. We'll find out tonight who they are....

My picks for best-dressed: Carrie Underwood, in a low-cut, bold floral print gown, Fergie in a simple, yellow strapless gown and Alicia Keys in a royal blue, high neck halter gown.

*The divorce battle between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills is heating up! They went back to court today--Heather reportedly wants a $150 million settlement. Now there's a new report that Heather cheated on Paul for 6 months while they were married.

*The on-screen chemisty between Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson is box office gold. Their new romantic comedy, Fools Gold is the new #1 movie, taking in $22 million over the weekend.

*Happy Birthday to my favorite female celeb: Jennifer Aniston is 39 today and Jen's friend, Sheryl Crow is 46.

*Britney is out! Britney Spears was released yesterday afternoon from a Los Angeles psych ward after a court found "no just cause" to hold Britney against her will. Needless to say, her parents and doctor are disappointed and frustrated. After being discharged, Brit went to her lawyer's office, then to the Beverly Hills Hotel with her paparazzo boyfriend (here we go again--back to the same lifestyle!) Britney is back home now. I hope she will be okay out of the hospital!

*We now know what killed Heath Ledger. The toxicology report was released yesterday and the New York City medical examiner ruled that Heath died of an accidental overdose of six prescription drugs. Now federal drug agents want to know how Heath got the prescriptions so an investigation was launched.

*Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane ("Dr. McSteamy") revealed that he successfully battled skin cancer on his lip. Glad he's okay! You can read about Eric's story in the new issue of OK! Magazine.

*Fergie is in the beginning stages of planning her wedding to Josh Duhamel and she said she stocked up on lots of bridal magazines. A wedding date has not been set yet...

*9-months-preggers Jennifer Lopez attended a fashion show this week during NYC Fashion Week and she looked stunning--all glammed up in a short, blue dress! Jennifer said she gets dressed up all the time and refused to wear sweatpants, even while she's pregnant.

*Britney Spears' dad, Jamie is still co-conservator of Brit's $40 million estate until at least February 14. A judge made the ruling yesterday after Britney tried to fight it because she doesn't trust her dad. And you thought you had a dysfunctional family....

*The toxicology report on Heath Ledger is expected to be released very soon, possibly today. Meanwhile, Heath's family arrived back in Australia to prepare for his funeral and burial.

*The annual Oscars luncheon was held in Hollywood yesterday, in which the nominees gather for a "class photo." The Oscars will air on ABC February 24 and there is a good chance that the writers strike will be over soon--just in time, so the stars will show up!

*I was surpised to hear this: Grey's Antaomy star Justin Chambers, who plays Dr. Alex Karev checked into the same psych ward where Britney Spears is staying due to exhaustion and a sleeping disorder. He has five kids so I can see where lack of sleep could happen. Justin checked in Monday and stayed for three nights. His Grey's co-star, Katherine Heigl was shocked to hear about it from the paparazzi and she immediately got on her phone to get the scoop.

*Britney Spears is on a 72-hour emergency hold at UCLA Medical Center, but I hope they can get her (either voluntarily or by court order) to stay longer. Hospital sources say Britney has been classified as "gravely disabled." That means the patient is unable to take care of basic needs, such as the acquisition of food, clothing or shelter.

*After getting a lot of criticism, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider decided not to air a controversial video of the late Heath Ledger talking about drug use at a Los Angeles nightclub. A rep for the show said they cancelled the airing of the video out of respect to Ledger's family. It's a little too late for that explanation in my opinion--they paid 6 figures for the video and only pulled it for geting so much heat. I think I'll stick with Access Hollywood from now on....

*Jennifer Lopez is due to give birth any day now, but she needed one more big shopping spree for baby clothes. Jennifer spent $5000-$8000 on baby clothes at a Long Island mall.

*New movies in theaters include Jessica Alba's thriller, The Eye and the Hannah Montana 3-D Concert Movie

*Britney Spears was committed! Britney is finally getting help after being taken by ambulance this morning to UCLA Medical Center. Her psychiatrist determined that Britney posed a threat to herself and others. She didn't resist when the doctor told her she was going to the hospital and seems to be more open now to treatment. Sources say she hadn't slept since Saturday. Britney will be held there for at least 3 days and possibly up to 2 weeks. I hear that her mom, Lynn wants her to come back to Louisiana when she gets out of the hospital. I will keep you up to date on the latest....

*Ethan Hawke and his former nanny are expecting a baby. He has two kids with ex-wife Uma Thurman.

*The Hannah Montana concert movie opens in theaters tomorrow and it set a record for online pre-sales. By the way, Miley Cyrus said she's not dating Nick Jonas--they're just friends!

*Britney Spears and her mom Lynn have reunited, but the reunion has gotten off to a rocky start. The two have been fighting all over town since Mama Spears arrived in Los Angeles.

*Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus legally changed her name from Destiny Hope Cyrus to Miley Ray Cyrus. Miley has been her nickhame because she was always smiling growing up. Her new middle name is a tribute to her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. I think Miley should have legally changed her name to Hannah Montana!

*There was a rumor that Jennifer Lopez went into labor yesterday, but Marc Anthony said it's not true.

*Gwen Stefani may be pregnant. A new report says Gwen is expecting her second child.

*Alicia Keys will perform in the Superbowl pregame show this Sunday and a pre-taped performance by Paula Abdul will air. American Idol Jordin Sparks will sing the National Anthem. Kickoff time for the Patriots vs. Giants is 6:17PM (Go Giants!)

*Miley Cyrus ("Hannah Montana") is only 15 years old, but she could be a BILLIONAIRE by the age of 20! Miley has deals for movies, a clothing line and her own fragrance. Just don't work too hard, girlfriend!

*Did you see the Screen Actors Guild Awards last night? Angelina Jolie is pregnant--in my opinion. The rumors have to be true. Angelina was wearing a loose, flowy gown and she had that special glow that you can not achieve with makeup. It was great to see her look so happy!
Ryan Seacrest called out sick for the SAG Awards. He was supposed to interview the stars on the red carpet, but he was home sick in bed. Poor Seacrest--his crazy schedule must be catching up with him!

*New Kids on the Block fans are going to freak out! The hottest boy band of the '90's is planning a comeback and an official NKOTB tour announcement is expected soon. They probably got inspired by all of the $$$$ the Spice Girls are making on their reunion tour.

*Nicole Richie had a date night with her fiance, Joel Madden and she's skinny again two weeks after giving birth to daughter Harlow. Then again, besides the baby bump, she didn't have much weight to lose.

*Does Jessica Biel know that Justin Timberlake was spotted making out with a brunette at a New York Club???
