*The animated film Ratatouille topped the weekend box office--it's about a rat who aspires to be a gourmet chef (Hmmm, rats in a restaurant kitchen--not sure if I want to see that!) Live Free or Die Hard was #2, followed by Evan Almighty
*Britney Spears hand-delivered an upsetting letter late last week to her mother, Lynne. The letter essentially said that Lynn could not have contact with her two grandchildren if she's taking certain types of medication. However, Lynne is optimistic. She's hoping that Britney will attend the family's 4th of July cookout in Louisiana (yeah, right--she'll bring the hot dog buns!)
*Maybe it is a good thing to not win the title of American Idol--it's working for Chris Daughtry and his band. Daughtry's self-titled debut album was certified triple platinum after hitting the 3 million sales mark
*More than 3 million people watched Larry King's interview with Paris Hilton last week. That's 3 times the amount of viewers that Larry usually has. Tonight, Larry's guest is fired Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington.
*Happy 21st Birthday to Lindsay Lohan! Let's hope she doesn't celebrate with a drink!
